A beautiful pair of earrings featuring large diamonds surrounded by calibre-cut sapphires. Made of precious platinum, these earrings are inspired by the geometric Art Deco style of the 1920s. Colourful gemstones were used by

designers used for contrast with diamonds and white metals, which ensured maximum visual impact. This design honours the timeless elegance of the Art Deco era.

The Art Deco period lasted from about 1915 to 1935 and is named after an exhibition in Paris in 1925 that celebrated the new, chic geometric style that emerged after World War I. A freer style was celebrated and women who embraced the flapper lifestyle refused to return to societal constraints. Instead, they opted for liberating style and self-expression with exuberant jewellery and looser clothing.

Glittering jewellery was a breath of fresh air after the austerity during World War I. These earrings are contemporary but faithfully made in the Art Deco style. View the specifications
