The characteristics of Jackie Kennedy's jewellery style
There were a number of things that stood out about Jackie's jewellery choices; for example, she favored classic and timeless designs. Pearls, gemstones and simple yet elegant details were at the core of her collection. She was immensely talented at combining simplicity with sophistication, this has made a lasting impression on the fashion world. A few specific elements that define her jewellery style will be named below:
- Pearls; Jackie was then often seen wearing different types of pearls, this made her graceful and emphasized her sophistication. Pearls were therefore a trademark of her style and are still a popular choice from our store.
- Gemstones; these could add a splash of color to several of Jackie's looks. Whether it was sapphires, emeralds or diamonds, these stones could add tremendous allure. Thus, our Jackie model includes different colors of stones; this is how we appreciate her timeless and colorful aesthetic.
- Simple designs with impact; Jackie's jewelry was simple but could leave a profound impression. Using minimal details, she was able to create maximum impact, thus she was an inspiration to all. The ring based on her is therefore characterized by its subtle design but it remains elegant and timeless
Personal jewellery from Jackie
Some of Jackie's jewellery had personal significance, such as pieces she received from her husband or that had historical significance. For example, she often wore the Cartier Tank watch given to her by her husband John F. Kennedy. The name Cartier Tank is named after the armored fighting vehicle used during World War I. The design of Cartier Tank was inspired by the rectangular shapes and lines of a tank, hence the name. In addition, Jackie O had also received a beautiful engagement ring from John F. Kennedy. The beautiful piece had a 2.88 carat diamond with a 2.84 carat emerald. This ring was both a personal piece of jewellery and a symbol of their love.
This personal jewellery with historical significance represented not only the romantic moments in her life, but also her role as First Lady. These pieces were an international symbol of style and elegance. Now the pieces are valuable heirlooms and are often associated with the iconic image of Jackie O. Jackie O's jewellery style is still admired and imitated for its timeless elegance and simplicity. Her influence on fashion and jewellery remains a lasting legacy.

The History of Jackie
Jacqueline Lee Bouvier, ultimately Jackie Kennedy, was born on July 28, 1929. Her life has a rich history of glamour, sadness, resilience and commitment to can and culture. Thus, we can safely conclude that she was more than just the First Lady of the United States. As such, she came from a privileged family, raised in Southampton, New York. John Vernou Bouvier, Jackie's father, was a successful stockbroker. Her mother, Janet Lee Bouvier was a socially active woman who instilled in her children a love of horses and literature from childhood. This contributed to the development of refined taste and style.
After studying at Miss Porter's School in Connecticut, Jackie continued her academic journey, ending up at George Washington University. While in school, her interest in art history continued to flourish, this later inspired her to take an active role in preserving different cultural heritage. In 1953, Jackie became engaged to the promising young senator, John F. Kennedy. The couple quickly became a notable duo in American politics and within social circles. Jackie then quickly became, mainly because of her refined taste and classic style, a fashion icon and an acclaimed First Lady.
The world therefore had great respect for Jackie, especially during her international state visits, where her stylish clothing choices graced the front pages. As such, she always wore different designers, including Oleg Cassini and Givenchy. Consequently, these brands ensured that Jackie acquired an impeccable image. She then also had iconic looks in pink Chanel suits and pillbox hats, among others, these are then still imitated by fashion lovers in this world.
Unfortunately, Jackie and John's marriage was cruelly interrupted on Nov. 22, 1963, when the president was assassinated during a public parade in Dallas, Texas. This tragedy shocked the world and left Jackie as a grieving widow. In the aftermath of the assassination, Jackie showed dignity and strength, guiding the United States through the days of national mourning. During this period, her understated style and determination was characteristic.
After these tragic events, Jackie turned to her love of art and literature. Yet after several years, she found a new love, Aristotle Onassis. He was a Greek shipping magnate, and led a more private life than Jackie was used to. After his death, Jackie did not remarry again. She died on May 19, 1994, but her legacy lives on. She is remembered as a woman of unparalleled grace, intelligence and determination, whose style and influence are still felt today. She thus remains an immortal icon of elegance and strength.
